FOR ALUMNI IN ITALY |

Alumni in Italy can now make tax deductible contributions to the Bologna Center of the Johns Hopkins University through a special fund at the Associazione Italo-Americana "Luciano Finelli" / Friends of the Johns Hopkins University. |
|
Donations made by individuals (IRPEF payers) are eligible for deductions (detrazioni) totaling 19% of the total donation (up to a maximum donated amount of Euro 2.066,00 per year). |
|
Donations made by companies are eligible for deductions totaling 2% of the company's declared income up to a maximum of Euro 1.549,00 per year. |
|
To be tax effective, contributions should be made by bank transfer or check (you can find more information about the Italian fiscal law for non profit organizations on the Agenzia delle Entrate web site by clicking HERE) |
